Founder Profile & Heritage

MOHAMMAD ABDUS SALAM

"The water of Zam Zam is a symbol of endless hope and purity. Our foundation strives to be a source of life-changing relief for the thirstiest souls on Earth."

Inspired by a lifelong dedication to community upliftment, MOHAMMAD ABDUS SALAM established the Zam Zam Welfare Foundation Bangladesh in 2012 to address deep structural inequalities, focus on localized crisis prevention, and offer clean water and nutritional support to remote geographies.

Under his visionary guidance, the foundation expanded from a regional food shelter into an international humanitarian beacon operating complex educational systems, high-efficiency water treatment facilities, and rapid emergency logistics wings.

Global Manifesto

Founder's Message to the Global Community

Dearest partners, donors, and brothers in humanity, the challenge of extreme poverty can feel overwhelming. Yet, hope is never absent when we act together. I founded Zam Zam with a clean heart and a simple conviction: no one should sleep hungry or drink poisoned water while we have the power to help them.

Our transparency index remains our proudest badge. We account for every cent, ensuring it reaches directly to the hands of certified beneficiaries. Together, we can write a page of history defined by kindness, not crisis.

We don’t believe in temporary band-aid measures. When we drill a well, we ensure it’s filtered, solar-pumped, and legally owned by areawise female cooperatives to avoid asset capturing by local elites. When we enroll an orphan child, we sponsor them until they secure a fully certified university degree or custom tech vocational employment.
