From a Local Sanctuary to a Global Shield
In 2012, witnessing the devastating impact of seasonal droughts and water crises in remote terrains, our chair MOHAMMAD ABDUS SALAM pooled family resources to dig the very first artesian well in dry Sindh. This single well brought clean water to over 150 families, instantly declining childhood waterborne mortality in the village.
As surrounding regions appealed for support, the initiative took structural form, leading to the registration of the Zam Zam Welfare Foundation Bangladesh. We expanded carefully and strategically, establishing rigid mathematical audit pathways to guarantee that every single dollar contributed translates into lifesaving ground procurement.
Today, Zam Zam manages multi-channel operations including the Kafala Orphan Sponsorship, mobile pediatric health clinics in Syrian camps, and high-tech digital literacy classrooms in barricaded territories, preparing vulnerable youths to conquer the global virtual workspace.
